Patrick Fogarty Uniform Information

Dear Parents/Guardians

The uniform is an important part of our school’s identity. It reinforces who we are as a community and it allows students to feel pride in their school. The uniform also helps prepare students for life after school where many will be required  to dress in appropriate workplace attire. The uniform ensures all students are treated equally, which is an important element of Patrick Fogarty School culture.

In the last few years, our uniform at Patrick Fogarty CSS has become less formal. There seems to be a number of interpretations of what is, and is not, acceptable to wear. We are sending this notice as a way to  clarify our expectations for students and parents.

Patrick Fogarty’s sole uniform provider is DGN Kilter’s.  A complete list of acceptable uniform pieces is available on our website (   The pant and capri do not have our logo, however, all tops and shorts must have the Patrick Fogarty logo.

Please note the kilt has now been entirely phased  out. No one should be wearing the kilt. Also, the skort is on its last year of being phased  out. Only grade 12 students are permitted to wear the skort.

If you have any questions regarding the uniform, please do not hesitate to contact the school.

Hope you have had a safe and blessed summer.
